I started blogging last fall ostensibly to record interesting sightings, events, and cultural happenings. Unfortunately, without an editor or sharp focus, the site quickly devolved into a forum for amusing YouTube videos and interesting New York Times articles.
This blog will be different; it will focus on current news and developments in aquatic science. Since the hydrologic cycle includes significant underground processes, the site will not strictly investigate surface water and I will delve into the subterranean on occasion.
I will provide perspective from someone who has been actively involved in the field of aquatic science for nearly ten years. In addition, since I am interested in learning more about urban ecology and landscape design, I may include tidbits related to those fields as well.
Enjoy, and please make suggestions!
